Located in the Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Ravello offers an abundance of contemporary Italian dishes, including aromatic pizzas, fresh pastas, and sumptuous piatti forti. The contemporary coastal Italian interior lends itself beautifully to the themes created within its menu. In both their breakfast and dinner offerings, Ravello aims to focus on sustainability by “sourcing locally and seasonally when available, using only cage-free eggs and sustainably certified fish, and reducing waste while minimizing environmental impact.” Our review will be focusing on the dinner at Ravello, available each night from 5:30-10:00.
From the antipasti, we highly suggest the Tomato e Mozzarella Focaccia. The vibrant herbs in addition to the rich extra virgin olive oil create the perfect burst of flavor atop the fresh and soft focaccia. The Cozze in Brodetto, another antipasti offering, features muscles presented in a sweet, acidic tomato broth, served with a crusty bread. The muscles themselves evoke sensations of the Amalfi Coast, the location of the town of Ravello, perfectly complemented by the warmth of the sauce. If you find yourself at Ravello, these mouthwatering dishes are worth adding to your order.
The restaurant’s signature dish is the Veal Ravioli, a beautiful merger of succulent veal, fresh vegetables, and creamy ricotta. The addition of the truffle essence brings the flavor of this dish to the next level. The veal itself is the stand-out element; its juicy and tender nature completes the dish supremely. The ravioli served as the inspiration for this restaurant and certainly holds the title of the best ravioli we have tasted in the Orlando area. While it is a pricy addition to your order, we believe the signature dish to be absolutely worth it at Ravello.
The Vegan Housemade Sorbetti, offered in several fruity flavors, is a favorite dessert of ours. Incredibly smooth and lively in taste, the sorbetti is a must-get item to end the meal. Also available are a host of unique mocktails, each of which are highly refreshing.
For our honorable mentions, we would like to highlight the Branzino e Spinaci, the Margherita pizza, and the Tiramisu Classico.
If planning to visit, our recommendation is to make a reservation early as the restaurant tends to be busy, particularly on weekend nights. While Ravello is certainly a higher-price option, we believe that it is a great spot for special occasions and those craving first-class Italian cuisine in Orlando.
